Dashboard Services



The Dashboard is a fully-secure online service that loads Licence Status Report data, provided by DFO - and only with signed permission from the quota owner - and presents it to the customer in a dynamic, easy-to-read format.

The Dashboard service is provided from a secure, central server and database. It is as accessible and usable for the independent fisher as it is for larger integrated fishing operations and processors. Customers only need a browser, such as Internet Explorer and an internet connection. There is no software to buy or download, and virtually no training is required.

Quota owners control the information. A quota owner can choose to make information available to any third party such as a partner, skipper, processor, buyer or customer - anyone he has authorized to log onto the Dashboard over the web. In such cases, the third parties only see what the quota owner has permitted them to see.

The dashboard also provides features that link quota activity directly with fishing operations, including:
  • Trip planning,
  • Online trip logs,
  • Instant quota status updates using DMP Logs,
  • Access to full archives of all quota updates, logs and documents throughout the fishing year.
