Dashboard Services



The Dashboard is a fully-secure online service that loads Licence Status Report data, provided by DFO – and only with signed permission from the quota owner – and presents it to the customer in a dynamic, easy-to-read format.

The Dashboard service is provided from a secure, central server and database. It is as accessible and usable for the independent fisher as it is for larger integrated fishing operations and processors. Customers only need a browser, such as Internet Explorer and an internet connection. There is no software to buy or download, and virtually no training is required.

Quota owners control the information. A quota owner can choose to make information available to any third party such as a partner, skipper, processor, buyer or customer – anyone he has authorized to log onto the Dashboard over the web. In such cases, the third parties only see what the quota owner has permitted them to see.

The dashboard also provides features that link quota activity directly with fishing operations, including:
  • Trip planning,
  • Online trip logs,
  • Instant quota status updates using DMP Logs,
  • Access to full archives of all quota updates, logs and documents throughout the fishing year.

The Dashboard as a leap forward in quota tracking and management that will continue to evolve and keep IQMI clients ahead of the game.

There are three levels of Dashboard service:

Dashboard Lite – an entry-level version of the Dashboard, aimed at small vessel owners who want to manage their own quota.

Dashboard Pro – a full-function version of the Dashboard, with features to manage both quota and operational information.

Dashboard Fleet – full-function Dashboard designed to manage quota and operational information for multiple vessels. Includes all quota management and operational features plus the ability to generate aggregate views of quota by licence type and by user-defined vessel pools.

IQMI can also provide custom Dashboard views and information feeds to quota brokers, processors, distributors, retailers – any party along the commercial fishing value chain – but only under the direction of the quota owner.
